[Incompetent Chivalry]

I liked it but...

Your animation is top knotch! Really smooth! And I loved the random killing, but the overall "story" or wasnt really there. The appeal was in the random death scenes and one-liners. But that shouldn't be what makes your flash. Good job non the less!:) 4/5

Well this one is touch cause on an overall base tech it wasn't too hot cause of Superyoshi's flash... which was... interesting... However on the individual bae it was great!...

You get the award from me as havign the best flash all around, best sound effects (sorry guys I know you all got your sound effects from him:-p) and best action sequence. To be honest I kinda didnt really care about the quick story in the beginign and I was like, fuck this lets get to the action:-p I loved how you had the the scene move around and the general movement of all the chars. The only thing I didn't really like was the non-sprite parts of the flash, it jsut seemed out of place but it didnt take too much away from the overall flash... 9.5-10/10

Second thought was Square mainly cause of the huge gape of improvement you've made from the first TT to this one. Igot to be honest, the first one wasn't all that super, but this time it looks liek a totally different person made it. Great timing, decent dialogue (not great but not bad) The one thing I didn't really like with yours was the ending. You use a totally nw background you have everythign set up for a kick ass final fight and then you basically leave it as... oops i slipped:-p... 8.5-9/10

Gamma third in my book, but dont think thats a bad thing. Your flahs was very good but the text font was WAY too small and i jsut didnt like it (in both this one and the one you did on your own) the flash was funny but I was too dizzy from getting an inch away from my screen to read it to enjoy the humor. Also the major thing which killed it was that it wasn't really an "epic" battle. It looked more liek a goomba assault then an actual battle. But still I liked it! 8-8.5/10

Super Yoshi... wtf? I say this cause I've watched your other flashes and this was no where near as good as your past work. You need to resize (without streching I say that cause I've made that mistake) and have actual bullets come out. Also the dialogue... not so hot. It looked liek there was more effort in the credits then your flash. But I don't want ot totally bash it cause it was better then some other sprite movies out there. 4.5-5/10

All in all guys great job! Now lets go get that daily award!!!:-D

if this was your first you had a GREAT first showing!:-p This was veyr funny! Also I originaly thought you messed up by havign the wrong bit mario at first but then it all made snese at the end:-p Very funny! Great job... TIME TRAIL! Do it now!:-D

Yoshi! Your effects and style are awesome! And the fact that its only 301.3Kb!!?!? WTF! Good job on the compression.. You have ot finish your part for the Sprite TT! You have to be in it! it neds your style!! Oh and I'm trying to get the deadline pushed back for ya so we can have you in there. You have to show me how you get some of those effects. Also how long did it take you to lip sink Luigie with the song? Great job I look forward to the future ones!

Hey! Thanks man! :D and d00d... I have no idea how its 301.3 kb LOL I guess it's the way I make my movies on macromedia mx 2004 :o. I'm working on teh movie as I type :D (multi-talented ;)) lol XD jk. And it took me 15 min to make the mouth sprites, and about an hour on puting it on the movie!

Thats what I'm talking about!

Huge improvement from the first! You are slowly taking your craft and mastering it! The animation in this ep was much smoother and cleaner. Exciting fight scene and superb use of your custom sprite sheet of "Protomegaman". I like the fact that you actually changed some aspects of the sheet instead of just recoloring it. Also you showed some improvment in your background. There was some vibration in the first but there was no flaws liek thatin this one. However, there was a small problem wiht the alignment in one area of the background.. not a major problem at all. Also the only other problem is that this subject has semi been explored alreadyd. But I think its great for every sprite author to have a learnign series to fine toon their skills. Also I loved your scene creator (alittle formiliar to me:-p) Anyway I look forward to the 3rd ep and your future projects now that you have learned what you do best:-p. Good luck!

Not too bad:-D

Well Zero doesn't exist yet and is way strong so hes not good there. Music was very good. The font for the text prob could be better. Slowing down the texted would be nice. The bad guys all died too fast. And in the very first scene the background vibrates for liek a second. Not bad all in all though. Hope this helps and that improve upon your skills... oh wait... you already have;-D I guess you can just ignore this review.

True style

My mouse was hovering over the zero icon the whole time it was loading when I read "no animation" I was like WTF!?!? This has to be shit. However, you're very style, tone of voice, and mellow guitar loop was perfect. The shots you guys took (which I'm guessing you all took a good bit of time to create) were all perfect, i'm guessing one of you in your group is a photographer. Also the use of the same background with a slittly different event was awesome. Like when you had Priscilla (by the way good job on bagging that one... HOLY CRAP HOTTNESS! if you don't mind me saying) carry the crap then you carried the rest of the "crap" ... so awesome. Als I liked how Priscilla always ended up as the shiny aspect of the picture like at the end when its just her who isn't beat. You must love your wife...awesome! Bustball this animation I was ready to hurt with a zero vote has turned out to be on of my favorite. Great Narration great all around, Priscilla if you also read this, your husband is a creative genious and we all know what creative geniouses need to stay motivated, so do me a favor and keep him happy so he can keep me happy with movies:-D

For the record I dont review works often

However, I can't stop watching this flash. To start with, you choice in music! ANYTHING by Franz Ferdinan is godly! I'm actually pissed at myself cause I thought I heard all their songs. This one was a new one for me. I loved how you took all the attention off the real plot up until the actual moment that the guard hit the... i'll call him the lover. It was funny cause your char did all the things me, and probably everyone else out there wants to do when they get held back from somethign they want so much. Also the way the music and animation played off eachother was superb! I envy you my friend, you were able to express the feelings of everyone who ever wanted something sooooo much they would do anythign for it in your flash. *two thumbs up (one from each of my hands:-D) and I take my hat off to you*

I didn't even realize you had this up on the portal! I was checkign your prfile for some reason and saw it... anyway...

Very nice job! I'm guessing that this is the "project" that you're working on! Well you've made a very nice and very strong start on it if it is.

The music, actually I think Doc mentions, cuts off too soon, but it was still very fitting for the animation, even though we all know I like the dramatic music:-p

I also really liek the was you had both drawn and sprite images in the flash, though the drawn images could be cleaned up, it was still a very nice touch (unlike my failed attempt to do so during MMX OLB ep.3)

Also, this is gonna sound nitpicky but try to have different shades of red when you have blood, when the cut that wolf, or what ever it was it took me out of the atmosphere for like a slit second. Not a big deal at all, just something to watch out for.

All in all I think with the right development of chars you are goign to have a real kick ass series (i'm guessing you're making it a series) here. And it better be kick ass so everyone has a good sprite movie to watch while I'm absent from the portal:-p

This wasn't the project I was talking about recently on the Sprite Club thread. My next big thing will be a MMX movie, like yours, but with a different plot.(btw, hiring voice actors!! ^_^)

A flash series? This was originally a sprite comic, but it's a very good idea! But you must know that most edited sprites do not have complete sheets, they only have the necessary poses used in comics, for example. That means I would have to expand the current sheets that my friends have made. (that means a lot of time)

It made it through! I rememeber about a month or two ago when you first put this up on the portal! I liked it then and I like it now! Ok, now things to make it better... sometimes on the border of the frame there a white outline which I'm guessing doesn't belong. The text soemtimes isn't lined up in the text cirlces. Also you might want to get some Megaman sound effects so you can have that difference between the Sonic guys and the Megaman guys. Also, just wondering... who did sonic tales and knuckles have all those babys with?

Wow, you remembered! Yeah the write outline was going to be where the play, stop, rewind, etc. buttons were going to be, but that never worked out. I did fix the text and it did line up. I tried to find some Megaman SFX (heck, I even e-mailed a few people), but I had no luck. As for the "babies", you will have to use your imagination (although you could make ties, like Tails and Cream, and Sonic and Knuckles with Amy (surrogate mother).
